Walk San Francisco says Yes on L! Funding Muni makes our streets safer.

San Francisco’s city’s leading pedestrian safety organization, Walk San Francisco, endorses Yes on L to bring urgently-needed funding to support Muni bus, train, and Paratransit service:
“Safe streets and strong public transit go hand-in-hand, which is why investing in Muni is crucial. When transit service is frequent and reliable, more people take it. This reduces the number of vehicles on our streets, which in turn reduces the threat of dangerous traffic on our streets.”

Walk SF’s endorsement of Prop L continues, “When more people take transit, it’s good for our health, too. Fewer cars on the road means cleaner air, water, and less noise pollution. Quality public transit service supports health in many ways, from promoting more activity to ensuring access to health care and other opportunities. So let’s help get Muni the funds needed to succeed.”
Walk San Francisco has worked for over 25 years to make walking in our city safer and more joyful for everyone, including seniors and those who rely on mobility devices.
The Yes on L campaign is delighted that Walk SF is recommending that San Franciscans vote Yes on Prop L to support funding for Muni on the ballot this November 2024.
