4. Geary Street was the first street to have Muni service. Streetcars served Muni routes on Geary when the system started service in 1912!

5. Muni’s logo is lovingly nicknamed “The Worm.” The logo debuted in 1975 and was designed by Walter Landor, who also designed iconic logos such as FedEx, Levi’s and Kraft Mac & Cheese.
